i remember showing this to my buddy in the byward maket and she absolutely had to blast the title track like there was no tomorrow. i had my first borger at the chateau that evening. (she calls it the fairmont... i cant believe this woman). i was doing a tour of psych wards with the tulip festival cause i felt empowered to talk again a little more thank to this record. thanks mac youre a real one!

The lyrics of You're Not Special, Babe are so true and deep and simple and the same time. I also love how the music changes from one verse to the next. I can imagine dancing happily to this song as well as crying along during a heartbreak.
